About Heather

About Me and My Work

Heather DeAtley integrates her 20+ years of somatic/dance training, decade of experience as an Ilan Lev Method practitioner, and passion for pregnancy and birth to weave the worlds of and within Body Poetry.

Having learned under incredible mentors such as Darshna Parmar (Conscious Womb Birthing School) and Italian midwife Ana Maria Rossetti, among countless other pioneers in the field of pregnancy, birth, and wombyn-centered models of care, Heather brings this knowledge, sensitivity, and wisdom into the spaces she holds and wombyn/babes she supports.

Heather seeks to blend artistry, creativity, and intuition alongside physiology by summoning each wombyn’s individual Body Poetry. She offers 1:1 and group sessions on land (Wombmynt, Weavers of Movement and Breath (WOMB), and Body Poetry Ilan Lev Method-based treatments) and in water (Wombyn in the Water). Writing, moving, sensory drawing, and other creative modalities are often woven into the experience while the body and womb space are invited to come front and center to guide the journey.

At the heart of all of her offerings is a commitment to crafting truly Wombyn-centered models of care and support. Restoring the natural rhythms and deep honoring of our cyclical nature as wombyn guides her work alongside elevating body literacy around female physiology.
